Bottles, Cans & Much More…..

Our investment in the latest digital print equipment allows us to produce high quality labels at competitive prices.

Whilst we produce primarily for the brewing and cider market, our labels can and have been used in different industries, some of these include chemical, cosmetic, safety and wine/gin to name a few.

Label Options:

Material:

Our standard material for labels in polypropylene, this is our preferred choice of material due to the fact it is durable and moisture resistant. We stock 3 types of polypropylene, they are White PP, Silver PP and Clear PP.

  • White PP - This is a high quality white polypropylene that provides a vibrant gloss finish.

  • Silver PP - Allows for stunning metallic effects.

  • Clear PP - Perfect for a ‘no label’ look.

In addition to polypropylene, we can also produce paper labels. We offer a standard 80gsm paper, and a ‘textured’ antique paper to give the more rustic look. Please note, paper labels are sensitive to moisture and can expand after application creating bubbles and creases. Always evaluate if paper is suitable for your requirements.

Label and Core Size:

We have many stock cutters available to choose from, and can create any bespoke label shape and size you require. If we do not stock a cutter that matches your size requirements, we will first offer you alternative stock cutter that is similar in size. If these similar sizes do not suit your needs, then we will be happy to quote for a custom die.

Our labels are supplied on a 76mm (3 inch) core by default. We also offer a 44mm core size if required.

Liner:

All our polypropylene materials are available on either a glassine or PET liner (paper options are online available on glassine). Glassine is a waxed paper backing suitable for most applicators, PET is only recommended for high speed bottling lines which require high line tension.

Enhancements:

Our labels come with a gloss finish by default, however we currently offer four alternative finishes to enhance your label, these include:

Matt: A flood matt varnish is applied to the label giving a smooth matt finish.

Rough Touch: A flood semi-matt textured finish that gives a ‘sand paper’ feel to the surface of the label.

Textured Matt: A flood matt finish that has a less prominent tactile finish than the Rough Touch option.

Spot Varnish: Combine contrasting matt and gloss elements on a label to highlight key points within a design.

Winding Directions:

We offer a variety of different winding directions and it is important that you inform us which option is required for your application method. The different winding specification we offer are:

  • 1. Inside Wound Right Edge Leading

  • 2. Inside Wound Left Edge Leading

  • 3. Outside Wound Right Edge Leading

  • 4. Outside Wound Left Edge Leading

  • 5. Inside Wound Bottom Edge Leading

  • 6. Inside Wound Top Edge Leading

  • 7. Outside Wound Bottom Edge Leading

  • 8. Outside Wound Top Edge Leading.

Option numbers 3 and 4 are the most common options, but if you are unsure, please either refer to your labeller manual or ask for specifications from your bottling/canning plant.
